First Impressions

It has been a while since I have felt like adding a post to this site.  It happens to the best posters they find that they have lost focus or clarity on what they think can be considered the most important aspects of life.

It is true that my desires and dreams sometimes get in the way of facts to reality and what can be accomplished and well what is up to pure luck and others to help my dreams become a reality. The fact is yes we all need a helping hand on the way to where we would like to be in our thinking as well as in our abilities to achieve those great thoughts that lead to success. Many times I have spoken of success as something that is far off. Something that can mean many different things to many different people. My success is not your success in truth what I achieve has absolutely nothing to do with what you choose to achieve or what you call success.

I have been lax on getting this point across, as many will still ask me questions as to how I achieved success because they want to base their potential as to what I have gotten out of the business I am in.

I truly hate that I feel any one who has to base their future on what someone else has achieved is never going to go the extra mile that will achieve anything they want. It is sad to think that people look to others to figure out who they are.

Not one person in my life has ever been better than I am and what I think of myself not one.
Yes, it is a fact I know some very successful people in the way of their earnings and what they have chosen to live their lives like. That being said if I saw these people in a bar or at some event with out knowing who they are or what they do. I would never look twice at them in fact if I did speak to them in anyway with out looking for any particular advice. I may dismiss the conversation or the idea as to what they have achieved all together. Most people in passing never ask what some one else, does or do they ask inappropriate questions as to what some one makes.

In short, we meet people make small talk look over them as to their appearance and move on with out a back ward glance. The reason is because many of us are absorbed in the realities that today is another day that we are here on planet earth and we have to make today count for something that something in many cases does not involve the opinions of others like the local Wal mart check out girl as to what we purchased or who has gone in line before or after us.
We are our own reality we bring the world to ourselves as it combines its self to what we personally choose to make our worlds better not for anyone’s self satisfaction but our own.
Those that live to please other will never truly live a life that they find successful. It’s a fact its harsh however there it is if you choose to live up to others standards you will be boastful and find your self trying to achieve expectations that really do not exist in the frame of everyday life.

When you wake up do you say I want to please this person so I will dress this way or do you say I like myself as to who I am and choose clothing as to what your style is and what makes you feel comfortable. It is the same way in any business we choose we must work for ourselves and achieve what we are comfortable with not what some one else may feel is comfortable.

I was listening to a talk show radio program and this women was saying that she can never please her boss no matter what she did he just was not happy with her performance. She said I do everything for my boss and work hard at my job each day I try and do more so he will recognize my work and say thank you just once.

The fact is the women should have stopped and said I will not live my life according to some one else’s standards however live my live to the fullest as to my own standards and the hell with his thank you I know I’m good and I do not need anyone to tell me so. I will do what I feel the job requires and if I go that extra mile there had better be money in it or something that benefits my life and uplifts me as a human and a person. In any thing we do we must remember that we do things because we want to live better and find our dreams and desires.

In all my years my dreams and desires never were based on what other expected out of me however what I expected out of myself.

In saying that we must expect the best out of ourselves for our selves if we are ever going to beat the fear of failure or defeat by those around us. Negativity brings negativity if at any moment the women would have gone to her job with the can do attitude and said I can and will achieve my goals to day and regardless of anyone else’s opinion worked for those goals she would have been so much further ahead because people notice confidence and they understand that those who are confident never need to look for out side stimulus of praise to achieve goals.

A small boy once said, Hey I got an A in class and the father said I am proud of you son you did it because you wanted it not because I wanted it for you. You did it because you understood that your grade effects you and benefits your standing in society and does nothing for those in your class who make less grades.

Being proud without boastfulness is one of the people skills many people lack in business.
It is knowing when to speak and when to be quiet as to the understanding that others lives do not make your life.

I was at a funeral and it was a sad time it was a time of remembrance and a time where people talked small talk about the deceased life. There was one person there who began to speak loudly and out of place as to what he did in life that out shadowed what the deceased had done. Saying I make a six figure income I am this and I am that and I have this going for me and that going for me. People were very polite and listened however they were turned off and in truth could have cared less. None of what this person said had anything to do with why they were there or in truth what they really would care to remember.

The fact is when you speak of your business to some one do not over power them with all the details as to how much you make or how successful you are. Many MLM programs fall under the category that this funeral guy falls under they are loud they are obnoxious and scream out I am a success buy in to my bull shit. All their statements have nothing to do as to why some one would stop at their web site in the first place. They are filled with boast full pork and too many pages of I am I do and I can show you how great we are.

Look the MLM  idea is dead at the start and has nothing to do with small thinking people who are looking for small talk truth as to a real networking business that offers success and a life that can happen.

Any real home networking business does not hide behind five to twenty pages of saying you can base your success on what we have achieved or how much we make will give you an idea as to what you can make.

No, like I said you as a person can only make or have the potential to make what you put in to anything. Your dreams and desires can not come true by seeing others dreams come true who have taken the time and worked for them to happen. You can gain the skill and knowledge and have all the tools at your beck and call however if you do not use them or put effort in them it is like starring at a closed book and wondering why you can’t grasp what’s in side.

I call a lot of people everyday of the week and offer them free training and skills that they personally can use. That will save them years of failure and frustration. Information that is not just valuable for a networking business however for just living a life that can make dreams come true no matter what they are. Rather it’s money, home life, or just freedom from the rat race of everyday negatives that surround people. However after that I can not in any way make them use what I offer. They have to choose what they are willing to do to make their dreams come true I can not nor can any teacher mentor give out A’s for work that is not done.
We can only supply with a giving and servants heart the truths and information given to us that have created our success with.

Many people say they are ready and will read our free E-book Success In 10 Steps and get it right away and move on to the free training and start seeing there struggles disappear with in weeks as to what they want out of their business. Well as others will make excuses why they have not opened the free E-book Success In 10 Steps and wonder why they can not grasp why their business is failing. They will stare at the E-book for months and say I wonder why those that read this book are successful where I am not. My advice to those people is open the book then you will have your answer.

Many that have waited to read the free E-book Success In 10 Steps who finally take the time to open it and read it find it’s a easy read a truthful read and a super helpful read that gives them many moments where they question why they waited so long to get the skills and tools they need to see success.

I tell them there is no rush its all about them and that when they are ready I will always be ready to help them with the skills training and information that has created my success.
However I never mention companies products or income as to what I make because none of that has to do with the knowledge and skills they can applies in their lives to fine their dreams desires and successful A’s in life.

The true only way to achieve it live it and do it is to work for it and want it. The rest we can help you with.

MLM Team Building

Ok every one sorry I have not posted in a while. 

This week has been a long one after the holiday I got sick with the heat slash an inner ear infection. Also our computer decided it did not like the 103 heat wave or the power surges we got. So you could say I have a lot of catching up to do. So thank you all so much for your patients and I’ll get right to this post subject.

OK  now you have your new MLM home business and it’s up and running now what you ask.

You have at your finger tips a great product and many ways to get your advertising out there to those who may be interested in what you are doing. You even have a great mentor that is showing you all the ropes a good five pillar company should have.

However something is missing.

You feel that you need something more than just what you have on your plate. You are looking for others that have the same dreams and desires. So now is where you start the real work.

Building a team of like minded people so that you all can help each other with training and learning new skills. Keeping things fresh new and updated with the trends of those you seek to do business with. In theory it all sound good and easy to do. However how do you know who to add to your success team after all every one wants to be a success.

However that being said many do not have the drive or desire to help others along which would make your team a great team. So you ask what type of things do I need to know to build a team that is in the same mind frame as myself.

Well lets start out with what you would expect out of a new team member.

The top of the list should be an easy one someone who is all in and honest. What I mean is someone who see’s the idea of success as something that overrides any thought of negative failure or untrue statements about the companies retention of members.

Second you want people that are not lone wolves who forget about the team and only think of themselves. Many people have big idea’s believe that others thoughts can not or will not ever over ride those idea’s these people have no room or need for a team. Because they are on an ego trip that only has room for their thoughts as to avenues to success without a plan to maintain long term success. They believe that short term success or high turn over in business is normal.

I have read many splash pages where the first thought is that if you do not gain the numbers or have a high turn over then something is wrong with your MLM home business. This thought is so wrong in its self. High turn over does not mean success. It simply means that your company has most likely not been doing business on the level and they are unable to keep clients once they have truly read the policies and procedures.

No, you are looking for people in your team who have lost the ego and are willing to work with others. An efficient and effective team needs to be on the same page. Ask the team questions and collaborate on decisions as the best ways and up to date thinking it would be to take your business to the next level. The idea of team means simply to work together in an efficient manner to gain positive results for every one  the team. Where when one wins the entire team wins.

Building a team that is a working unit that can move and think as one is the first hurdle every team must face. All team members must be willing to give as my good friend and team member /mentor Jennifer Fisher says one hundred percent of their effort to help others as well as ones self.

Remember there is know I in team.

A good team is like a Jenga game if every piece is in its position the tower stands tall.

A team must be the same way each person must have a position or skill that can be past down to the next person that can be easily duplicated to create equal results through out the entire team. Each team member must have a similar plan or objective as to speaking and helping others learn to speak to others through training and skills of understanding the motives and struggles of those they seek as clients.

Having each member of your team take a turn as the  leader of the team also is a way to build confidence and reinforce positive growth in each team member as a valued member of your group. Team building is a way to make your business a life time success.

Scheduled training and skills updates for every one in your team  are also ways to learn skills many by listening as well as participation.
It is a group effort on every team members part that makes a great team.

A Home Business Has Been a Part of Life.

The idea of having a home business has been a part of life for as long as I can remember.
Many people as I was growing up found out that the jobs in the working fields were not for them. Many who would love to make a good income from home may not have the time to be away from the home.

I remember that a large part of the home working force when I was a kid growing up was mothers who wanted a bit more than just being stuck taking care of family all the time.
The fact is many of these mothers back then chose things they could market to their friends and close family. Such as selling products that related to their situation. I remember every week a Avon representative would show up at my our house my mother would take an hour or two sitting at the table talking with the women and trying all her samples then sadly after words she may have just bought one item.

It was my first observation as to a marketing business. Back then I had no thought of the time or scheduling it must have taken that women to sit and basically entertain her friends and clients with the newest stuff and products that came out on the market. As an adult and looking in to those times. I now remember thinking that the people that did home marketing businesses would have liked to believe they were there own bosses. However they were always subject to the policies and procedures of the companies they chose to do business with.

In saying that I mean they had to be in a company that was reliable and stayed up on current events. A company that had fresh idea’s and a line of products that could with stand the ever changing times and market as to what was fresh and in. I remember the lady was dressed as they say for success when she arrived at my house to visit my mother. She was in an outfit that was supplied by the company that now as I look back was something the women who chose to work for them had to pay for out of her own wages and she had a sample case with new samples that I am sure also came out of her over all profit or income.

Now I mention the word profit for a reason.

When we all finally make the leap in to a home business the first thought above everything else is or money making potential and what we are going to do to make our money making goals a reality. We all start out with a desire to become the best at what we do and we are all when getting started looking at what it is we will be talking to the public about. Here in lies many problems when getting started in MLM. We do not focus on those that will sustain what we do we focus on what we can do to get our customers to purchase that one item or two each time we show up at their door step. Many people look at what they have and hold back on much they sell in certain products well pushing another item. Why because in many cases the companies have ordered way to much of something or are over stocked with items they have not sold in past months. So this is where the pitch comes in it was the job of the representatives to convince their clients that what they wanted is really not what they needed. Many companies will tell their people to even sweeten the deal by offering the old items at a discount. While saying buy another at this price and you get half off on this other price. That’s all well and good however this is where marketing gets confused with being a sales person. People think they have to either recruit or make the sale at any cost because if they do not suddenly the company in many of their policies can pull back commissions or wages as to your success. Wow I am going to say that again the companies you work for are only your friends as long as you are doing their bidding.

Many people say I am going to start a home business and be my own boss yet they are always subject to the marketers wills as to what products and how much they can sell over at any given time of those products. Many companies in the MLM home business come out with a product that everyone likes and is willing to buy because the product works and is at a good affordable price. However that is where many marketing network companies nail their people by leaving a small opening in their policies and procedures that states they retain the right to change the products or prices on products at any given time.

Many people when starting home businesses do not read or study to understand how a Marketing home business works so they are subject to out of pocket gotcha clauses at any given time. For example if you are selling a product to a customer at say a reasonable price of $14.95 giving you a commission of say $5.00 dollars off of each sale made on said product.
Then suddenly your companies decides to say change the price on the product to $22.95 and limit the amount of product you get. It does not take a rocket scientist to know that your $5.00 dollar profit just went out the window and it left you in debt as to around $3 dollars out of your pocket because in many cases the product prices change over night. Leaving you holding the preverbal bag as they say to all those customers that have prepaid for their items on ordering sheets.

So in recapping what I just said it is a wise decision to understand the way the company you do business with works. Another big thing as I was growing to understand is that many  home marketing opportunities  really work against the seller in the way products are supplied to the  down lines. What I mean to say is that there  are in many MLM  home businesses no real sense of equal opportunities as to every one making or having the chance to make their business a success.  I have seen many of these get rich quick marketing business say when you make money I make money. The truth is many times the home marketing average person makes a lot of money for their up lines well being at the bottom never really see’s the benefits or profits of the big heavy hitters.

This in no sense is trickle down economics as to you give a little you get a little. Most people starting out have no idea the work involved to make true money or have true success in marketing. They are shown the benefits with out the understanding of the skills to get to those benefits that’s why they fail. However in saying that let me get one thing out that’s been on my mind.

In understanding MLM home internet business you must understand at the roots of marketing way back then there was little training as to becoming a success. There was no internet and home businesses were not very enjoyable. Much consisted of going door to door talking to every one that opened the door. I remember the old hair brush sales man standing on the corner looking in all directions he was what I believe, thinking. Ok, I hit this place yesterday and that place the day before now which way do I go.

Many people in to days MLM home business start out just like that brush sales men they have no idea which way to go or even what they are selling they are just in the business to be in business and every one is a potential sale as long as you can get your foot in the door.
However that being said times have changed my friends the days of the brush sales men are long gone there are huge malls that have brushes and a million other things you can buy that are clean safe and may not have been used by hundreds of others before it was shown to you. The fact is with the advent of super malls and ready available items at every street corner. Marketing has gotten a bad reputation as to people trying to get other people in business that not only can get you in trouble but are just out right illegal. However at the same time as our economy fails and our job markets are sent over sea’s more and more people, not just house wives but men of all ages are finding themselves thinking of working from home.

In doing so they have to have the skills just like any true investment of ones self to understand what they are getting into. I find it funny how quickly in MLM business people just sign up. Because they read the big promises as to pay out. They totally miss out on all concepts as to where the big pay out may be coming from or if the big pay out treats people with dignity and fairness.

If at any time I went to fill out an application I never went to the job without some prior knowledge or study as to the job and knowing what the people hiring may expect or ask me to do for my wages. I also wanted to make sure I was up to the challenge and had the skills to do the job. If the job was of moral standing and had a long time reputation of treating their workers right and with some dignity.

So I ask you why people who are starting or in an MLM business do not take the time to do the same thing after all the job of being your own boss dose not stop at the door of signing up. It means you make sure the companies you work for have yours as well as others interests in mind not just their own and how much they can make. As I was growing up one thing I noticed about my mothers Avon lady is that she made the business she was in.

It was not her company that did it. Yes they came out with the concepts and marketing advertisements. However they were not sitting in my home it was their representatives.
Those that put a face on how the company wanted to be seen. Many marketing home business to day do not have a face to face relationship with their clients. They have nothing to show those that may be interested in their products that they are worth buying or investing in because they are not in competition with the large stores that may offer what they are offering. They work on the hit and miss factor as that brush sales men I was talking about earlier in this post. Where as others do not schedule their time out as is needed to build relationships with those that they do business with they only see the money factor and just like the brush sales men they are not up with the times or the changing markets as to products and how to market them.

Then there are those MLM companies that offer nothing and promise everything while raking in profit for a short time then when people catch on they vanish like a fart in the wind. While there are still other companies that have been around for years and years where their names have become household names. However they have lost their luster or edge because they are so well known that people who are seeking change or difference no longer seek them out because they know or think they know what they are about. Like Coca-Cola many years they were in business people had seen just about everything that Coca-Cola could market or advertise about their product. So much so that the public perception of them was growing stale and they were loosing sales. Then they decided to change and when they did it got peoples attention and drew bad press because people started to see that they liked the old Coca-Cola. Not necessarily the product as much as what the products advertisement represented a time when life was easier.

In marketing to be a life time success you must remember that your customer is what makes your business not the sales or money you make. Money comes and goes like the wind in marketing as well as many fly by night idea’s.

However if you build a business that is based on partnerships and trusted relationships you will have life long clients and the money will follow. The idea first and fore most in finding a true MLM business does not come with how much money the people claim they are raking in as to how many people they retain and do business with over many years. Also you must find a home MLM business that works with your time schedule not one that goes against what you are able to do.

When I first started out in MLM. I was following the perfect plan the plan I was told would make me rich in a year or two. However the plan was a long winding road of web sites that just led me to more web sites that I was told each would be bringing in the money weekly.
Not understanding the concepts or what I was doing I was signing up for things I neither read nor possibly could remember web sites that did not work with my schedule or give me any training or skill as to understanding their policies and procedures. My supposed up  line that were to help my wife and I to succeed were none existing once we were signed up. We were forgotten and left to our own devices as to figuring things out on our own. In many cases we were not contacted only until we sent in our first payments to get started. The money we spent to join these so called home MLM home business may not have been a lot to the companies who were probably making thousands a week off of desperate people just like me and my wife at the time.

It was then I realized that if ever my wife and I was going to see our desires and dreams come true we had to have a plan and find a company that was real and had real people in it that could help us with the things we did not understand. A company that did not require us to sign up for thousands of web sites or recruit millions of people just to earn a check that was never as much as we put in to the business. Now I had enough of walking the beat of MLM home businesses that seemed more like I was a brush sales men than a true business owner.
My wife and I did not just want to run a home business at the whims of the companies we worked with having our hard work only pay the upper crusts. We wanted to have a fair company that paid everyone fairly and the same with people that would help us every step of the way not just till they got our seven bones as they say in Vegas. However we wanted the skill to truly be in charge of our income and the training to communicate with customers who really wanted what we were offering. We did not want to hunt up people or try and sell them a old product that was marked up or make promises on products the customer liked only to be limited on how much we could offer them. So here we were looking for the right MLM system that would save us years of Failure and Frustration.

Fear of Failure

Do you know most people never start anything that will lead to success? Because they have a deep fear of failure. People are afraid that they will not measure up or make the grade.  Many people from start to finish only go as far as others around them go. It’s true many people would rather be in the crowd than to be set outside of the normal.

When I was growing up the fear of being noticed came with the fear that if I did better than someone else I would be expected to do more than someone else. It can be summed up in lack of self confidence or laziness. Depending on where you stand. As we grow we either can grow responsible or believe that an achievement is a badge to wear proudly or we can slack on anything bigger than ourselves because we may be noticed and well let’s be honest with ourselves the pressure to perform admiral is something many of us can not handle. We would like to think we are doing everything it takes to shine however when our moment comes many of us fall.

It’s true we all have a panic button inside of us and when the time comes many of us hit the button over and over letting our emotions get the better of us. Many people have an uncontrolled response of crying or getting up set. This does not mean that the person who does this is by far not up to the task of any situation it simply means they would rather be doing anything other than the task at hand.

In school many of us were never taught how to be in control of the world around us we were taught to be seen and not heard as kids. How many of you went through life as wall flower because the kid next to you was like Horshack from welcome Back Kotter. A person who was the show and seemed to have no fear of being a clown or someone who was so out there that even if you did speak up their star would out shine yours so you remained silent.

The fear of success is nothing new to many people. In fact I to have had the fear of success not because I did not deserve it. However because I felt others thought I did not deserve it.
Letting others opinions of myself control the coarse of my life. Many times I have heard people say why should you get the special treatment are you a teachers pet. Now I know we all have either been called that or something similar. Or perhaps as kids we called someone else that or threatened to beat them up because they stood out or were better at something than us. On the other hand we all have seen the bullies who seemed to be good at just about everything and let us know it.  Regardless what you remember or did as a kid. You sometimes fall back on as adult insecurities that have followed you like a stray dog. Things you desperately want to over come in your business career. Your fear of commitment your fear of success your fear of standing out. You say why didn’t they teach me this important stuff when I was growing up.

Many of you lately hate your jobs. You hate going in to them you hate or extremely dislike your boss and some of the people you work with really get on your nerves. However when you arrive you are all smiles and most likely the biggest gabber around the water cooler.
People would never know in private that you despise them all. Many go home to an empty house pop in a TV dinner turn on TV and vegetate never trying to better your situation.

Oh don’t get me wrong I realize you want to more than life it self. You have big dreams, big some day plans however those some day plans are put off by what. Fear that you will fail in trying to achieve them. It’s not your fault though it’s the way things just turned out right.
How many of you remember the class most likely list that came out when you graduated. Many of us look back on some of those silly things and say wow I wonder what happen to this person or that person. Do we ever think of them successful.  Many of us do not because we ourselves have not made our lives what they should be so it’s easy to think of others worse off than ourselves.

We have a fear that we will meet someone on the street we once knew and they will ask that horrific question.

So what have you been up to what are you doing now.

Many of us would rather lie in hopes that what ever we say sounds spectacular and makes the person wish they were us. After words we feel empty and discouraged  blaming the world for our lie, our lives and above all we get mad at ourselves for not being able to just be truthful.

What if all that could change starting today. Right now.

What if you never had to lie or be caught off guard again as to those moments of fear insecurity and above all failure to see your dreams a reality. What if Mr. Destiny showed up and said he could change everything you hate.

Introduce you to people that you would love working with. Teach you the skills to be successful and make your television time an unhealthy thing of the past.

• What if you could in five or six years retire very successful instead of say forty years.
• What if you owned your own business were you called the shots.
• What if when you saw the people from way back when you could tell them of you success and offer to help them become successful as well.
• What if these tools were just a click away on your computer.

Would you ignore it and go back to that old life you knew. Or would you make the first step and put fear aside once and for all and tap the key board and download the information.

Calling people

Looking for guidance in a mixed up world of cold calls can be a daunting if not impossible task to make a success out of your networking  business. There is a reason why they call the calls you do to the people cold. It’s because of the response you get from people who do not know you or what you are even selling.

The fact is many peoples new home businesses fail after they are launched because they can not get people to respond to them when they call or give them the time they need to explain what they are doing or selling.

This is why I say stop the cold calls all together. However do not stop calling people.
Now I know you are scratching your head and saying what did Mark just say. I think he said do not make cold calls. Then he said keep calling people. Did I miss something.

The answer is yes you did.

What I am saying simply is call people who request your information by finding it in other ways you advertise. If someone is asking for what you may have to offer the calls become warm and friendly the people you contact are expecting your call and will not only give you the time to explain what you are about.  However may even be eager to use the skills you talk about for their own home businesses. Calling people is not hard what’s hard is finding the right people you would want to truly do business with.

Many times when you call a person they want what you have as long as they themselves have to do none of the heavy lifting. The fact is you can offer golden liquid in a cup. However it is the persons own idea as to when they have exhausted all their other options to finally be ready to drink what you are giving.

Now as I have said many people will look else where for easy routes of doing things before they come back to you for your products or skills they need to become a success. Do not take anything personally and never right someone off if they say no. No in business is never the final answer epically if they are new at it and realize that what you are offering can help them succeed where as other things have put them more in to the line I like to call to no where.

I once heard a man say he took a short cut down the road to success because the other way was long and drawn out. It’s the same way with calling many people take the short cut and just call family, friends, or who ever they find in a phone book. However as the story goes the short cut had bumps, pot holes, and just all kinds of things that tore up his  inspiration and desire to get to the success he dreamed of.

Many people who take short cuts in business find that what looks good turns out to be the road to failure. They end up back where they started battered and bruised. Where as if they would have taken the correct steps in the path to their success. Yes the road may be longer however you find it smoother and more enjoyable because on the way there are many skills and places that have people who can guide and direct you away from mistakes and derailment from your desired success.

When calling people it’s natural to be a bit nervous because with meeting new people and starting up new conversations of a business nature. Each is apprehensive as to what the other will except out of them. Many people think that they are under the gun to make snap decisions when you call them. However if you can put them at ease as to letting them know that you will be there when they are ready and that you are all in for the long road of a life time of success, not the short cut. You will find that the prospective clients are so much more willing to come back to you than they would if they have know time to research what you are offering in information and products. Remember you are responsible for your honesty and how you call and do business with people. If you choose the short cuts enough people will know that you are not truly ready to help them when they need it. However by taking your time and keeping up with those you call as to their needs you will not just have people as clients but make life long lasting friendships that will create life long success. Remaining positive as to the faith in what you are doing and selling will transcend to those you call in a way that will not only build your business however help others to build theirs to a point that you can say was worth the efforts to learn what’s needed.

So when you call people think about how you would respond to someone calling you and what you may want to hear someone say to you. Then be that someone.

Yuck Disgusting Sticky Gum

Hello everyone.  I hope as you read this post I am finding you all well and above all very successful and positive in what ever MLM home business you are in.

I was just commenting to Tammy today as we were out running around doing our weekly errands.  How it seems the days are just flying by.  How very busy we have been just maintaining our life as it is let alone thinking of tomorrow and what I would like to achieve in building our home business.

Then it dawned on me that many of you out there are just like Tammy and I, very involved in the days activities and plans.  That some times it’s hard to think about creating a income from home.  You have kids to pick up from after school projects and suppers to be made for husbands while maintaining a home that seems to be crashing down around you.  Or you may be dealing with health problems or even unemployment.  What ever it is that’s eating up your time seems so demanding and is always important.

Then Tammy said, “Yes, however in life you know what is the most important thing that should be done?”

I  said, “What’s that sweat heart?”

Tammy smiled and said, “Making sure you are paying yourself and playing it forward with a solid plan that will support all the work you are doing to maintain the life style or improving the life style you have now.  So when your not able to do it you have something you can live comfortably on.”   Then she said, “What could be more important than paying yourself and working for it by making time no matter what, because you are worth it.”

You know she is so right we all make so many excuses as to why we do not have enough time to build our business.  Yet we never notice how much time we truly waste.  However we should be making plans as to why we need to make time building our business now.  Because as the days fly by.  They are just one more day closer to our retirement.

We all have choices in life that will effect us one way or another.  So we may as well make them count now.  Because we all will look back on the time we have now and say, would have, could have, however I did not then I did.

Those that did will smile living a comfortable later life fishing on some wonderful lake eating barbeque.  Those that did not will be greeters at some mall.  Or scrapping nasty sticky chewing gum off of counter tops and floors with arthritic hands.  Wishing they had the past to make the time worth something that truly counts.

I do not know about you my friends but as for Tammy and I we are making the time today.
We hate sticky nasty gum.  However we love barbeque and fishing.

Time To Start.

Today I woke up with a frown on my face I was not happy as to the way things in my life was going.  I really did not want to face another day of  looking for a job.

I hated the idea that my refrigerator was empty and I had no coffee in the house.   I noticed even the small things that I enjoy are now starting to seem insurmountable as I realize that I have to start weeding down on items that I am used to having all the time.  All this has to be done just to survive.

I try to smile and put a good face on my families situation so not to worry them as to how desperate things are getting.  I found my self sitting in the car wondering if I should shell out another $50.00 dollars to fill the car up or by food for the house.  Thank god I still have that choice however my unemployment is stretched as far as it can go.  I am at a loss.  I jump every time the phone rings hoping beyond all hope it’s a job  that can support us throughout these times I see that many better well off people are loosing everything and ending up in their cars or these tent cities.  Winters coming soon.  The thought of being poor and a homeless person in the colder months is unthinkably scary.

Don’t Buy The Beans Until You’re Sure They Are Worth The Cow

When starting running a MLM home business you are no different than millions of other businesses out there.  Your business can by all purposes  look just like thousands of others.

In continuing what I was saying in my last post I have thought of ways that you can make your home business stand out amongst all those other business.  Many of you believe it is your product that will set you aside as a better deal.

However how many people out there do you hear about that really take the time needed to research why your product is better.  Your MLM business may be the best on the shelf and offer the skills and training that people who really need the help are looking for.  However just like in the super market there are a lot of the same items just with different manufactures on the labels.

So the consumer or client you are trying to get your message to some times if not all the time may be confused.  They tend to walk up and down the isles looking for what they like without knowing what they like because all the pictures of the products they think they know all look very similar or the same.

Ask yourself when is the last time you saw a consumer / Client stop and read every label as to what’s in the product they buy?   No one does because it would take way to long to much time out of their busy lives.  So what they do is go on trust of the advertisements they remember seeing hearing or memories of the things they grew up on.  It is blind faith in the companies and products that most people believe in as to knowing what they are selling to the consumer is safe.

The second biggest thing is the price that they are willing to spend on those products that they believe they know and like.  They ask themselves is the product I am looking at worth my money as to my memories of what the sponsor has stated the product to be.  Can I say the business company was truthful and gave me exactly what they stated.  Or was I disappointed and feel cheated as to the claims made.

In working your MLM business you have to look at the people you want to join you and buy your products in the exact same way.  The clients want to know you are doing business with their needs in mind and are truthful as to what you say your products are.  So first thing is you must have good product testing as to what you are selling and before the client believes in the product you must believe in the product and use it.

Second have solid backing as to your claims by others who have used the product and are using the product still on a daily bases.

Many MLM companies sell nothing and slap a great picture on their idea as to what they are about.  However the idea when opened is empty and has no backing.

What if you went shopping and paid for say a can of beans because the company said it was the best and they had a great picture on the can with a high price.  And you did not read what was in the can of beans you just believed the company new what it was selling to the consumer.  So you get home open the can of beans and find its empty.  It would make you mad right.

The fact is many MLM business are packaged real nice and boast of being the best.  However you pay for the best and get empty promises and no true testimonial as to what they claimed was fact.  This is why it is in your best interest to have a good policy and procedure in place as to information on what your MLM offers and has in it.  So if you client decides to read the condense they have something to read as to what your claims are.  Not a bunch of fluff and stories as to things that don’t mean a hill of beans to any one who may be interested in the company or the products they sell.

So that brings me to the next thing you need to make your MLM business a true success.  Trust and backing to those policies and procedures.  If you do not have this then the old saying applies you end up with something that is not worth beans.  Your MLM business must stand out on the shelf as a five pillar company.  It is the only way that a MLM business can be truly a success.  Many MLM companies claim to be great and worth your time.  However if any one of the five pillars are missing then “Buyer Beware.”

Here is a perfect example as to what I am saying.

Say you are hungry for a cheese burger and you see an advertisement of this awesome looking sandwich that gets your mouth watering.  Then you rush out and find the sandwich   is greasy and has nothing in it like the advertisement that got you interested in the product.
Would you be a return customer?   Probably not unless you were desperate and no one else was offering a hamburger.

However that’s not reality.  There are millions of companies out there offering products and willing to get your hopeful client life time business.

So the next point if you have a product the face you put on it has to be just as good as the product.  No short cuts as to these rules. Don’t buy the beans until your sure they are worth the cow.

The E-book

In this post I want to talk about people we call who have requested the E-Book Success in 10 Steps.  Many times we find that the people that have downloaded the book have not yet read it or believe it is exactly like thousands of other E-Books out there.

The fact is yes there are many E-books from many MLM companies out there.  However there are none that are like the E-Book Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy.

Someone once said well how can you tell the difference, everyone of the MLM E-Books out there all have a sure fire plan that will make everyone who reads it successful.  However they all require some sort of work.

Look, yes there are E-Books out there and MLM plans that claim they can make you rich by simply paying a small amount of money for their program.  I am going to shoot straight with you.  If you get one of these E-Books the first thing you need to do is wipe your backside with it.  Because  I guarantee its about worth as much as toilet paper.  Even if the people sound super sincere and have five page stories as to how they had nothing.

Example:

Then magic happened one day they ended up meeting this total stranger who was driving a super cool car that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.  That the person driving it looked like he was just twenty five.  And I said wow either they robbed a bank or they know something I don’t so I asked the person.  How can you afford such a car?

Guess what the total stranger sets up a meeting with me a total stranger to meet at his house.  When I get there I are blown away by the servants or swimming pools or what ever.

I would say I was so excited to find out about the secrets this rich guy has and guess what. He  offered it all to me for a small fee of say $29.95 for the E-Book and all the secrets that made them so successful.

And then the words in capital. WITH LITTLE TO NO WORK INVOLVED!!!!!!!

That I am now rich and want to share with John Q Public for a limited time of $10.00 Bucks which of coarse is worth a thousand dollars however out of the generosity of my heart I feel I should give back to those just like me as I received.

Look if you fall for that kind of spiel and spend the $10 Bucks you deserved to get ripped off point blank.  SCAMS like this are out their waiting for some sucker to be so desperate they will fork over food money or Rent money for the dream that can become a nightmare.

The fact is with Success in 10 Steps By Michael Dlouhy you pay nothing I will say it again you pay nothing its free.  The information is free and will save you years of failure and frustration.  If you do not like what you read you own nothing.  Now above and beyond the E-Book Success in 10 Steps we make no claims as to making you rich or you not having to work for what you have.

Yes there is work and time involved you will have to build your business and work at it daily.

Become a Raging River of Success Today.

The amazing thing that my wife and I have realized about starting a home business is the true freedom we have if something comes up out of the blue.  We can just do it.

The thing is we are not rich people or do we have lots of money right now.  However that being said we will have.  The reason why is because we both are all in too making that happen.

The fact is we are not going to get rich right away by the work we put in to the business.  If that scares some of you out there then do not start the process of a home business because reality is you will have to work and work hard for yourself to make your dreams come true.
I figured out a while ago that my wife and I was working hard for other people making them rich.

So why not work even harder for ourselves.  It only makes sense that we are worth our time and efforts to make ourselves rich and successful first.  Those that we worked for never came up and said to either my wife or I.  Hey guys I want to make you rich and successful like me.

The fact is these bosses never really needed to make us rich or successful because if they did they would have lost to idiots who believed that they could work for a person and by some miracle become successful?  We also realized by penny pinching that we were really never getting ahead or closer to our dream.

I always love it when I talk to people that say I’m saving for my dream house or my kid’s education.  The fact is you could be saving for years for your dream.  However in one swoop your dream can be put on hold for anything that arises from everyday realities.

It has been calculated that most people in the world only save about $500 to 1000 dollars a year if they have not dipped into it for this or that.  The average cost of a good house is around $100,000 and up to start.  So how long would you have to save?   Do the math you will never get what you want today or tomorrow by saving and working for someone else.

You have to remove those negatives from your head and go in too business for yourself period.   Make the time you have count today.  Many people ask so how well are you doing?
The fact is my wife and my earning does not reflect on any one person.   Because the hard truth is there are those who will work harder for themselves than others.

Some people that start a home business are lazy and were lazy working for other people.
They want the world to drop in to their laps.   Believing the world revolves around them.
They are the no it alls who have tried everything and because they did not have the desire or will to succeed.  They tell others that they can not succeed in a home business as well.

Something I have learned never asks advice from a negative person who has not achieved the success you desire.  Speak with those like minded people that have achieved their desires and are a success.

Do not go to the desert to get a drink.  You will find it’s all dried up.  Go to the dam that has so much water that it is having trouble holding it back for the drink you are thirsting for.

My wife Tammy and I are a small flowing brook heading to be a raging river right now.  We are working with the big dam that will end I believe for us and our business in an ocean of success and good thinking like minded people.  We want to help you gain that ocean of success with us.  We are very positive people and ready to get you started on your raging river of success
